“Your Go-To Guide for a Seamless Bridal Hire”

Before booking your dream look, please take a moment to review our Terms and Conditions. These outline everything you need to know for a smooth, stress-free bridal rental experience.

By placing an order with Bridal Rental Studio, you agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. This forms a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Bridal Rental Studio. (Last updated: 06/11/2025)

 


Rental Period & Delivery

Your rental period begins on the first date of your booking and ends on the final date selected. Delivery and return dates are included within the hire period.

For example: A 4-day hire from Friday to Monday means the dress is delivered on Friday and returned Monday.

We recommend selecting your delivery or pickup date 1–2 days before your event to account for any potential courier delays.

Postal Orders: Sent via Express Post. Tracking is provided during the hire week. You are responsible for monitoring your tracking and ensuring you receive the parcel on time. For high-value dresses, a signature may be required upon delivery.

If you miss your delivery and the item is redirected to a local post office, you are responsible for collecting it promptly.
Bridal Rental Studio is not liable for delays due to uncollected parcels and cannot issue refunds or credits in such cases.

If a delay occurs due to the courier and your dress does not arrive on the scheduled delivery day, you’ll receive store credit valued at 110% of your hire fee, including postage.

Please note:
• Delivery is guaranteed by 6pm on your selected delivery day (per Australia Post guidelines)
• Local pickups are ready by 5pm on the scheduled date

We strongly advise starting your hire 1–2 days before your event to allow for delivery flexibility.


Late Returns & Non-Returns

A late fee of $25 per day applies for each day your rental is overdue. Sundays and public holidays are not counted (as Australia Post is closed).

Items not returned within 15 days after the due date will be deemed non-returned, and you will be charged 150% of the full retail value, plus any late fees.


Payment Defaults

If outstanding fees remain unpaid, Bridal Rental Studio reserves the right to charge the full amount owed to the payment method on file without further notice.


Customer Responsibility & Risk

All garments remain the property of Bridal Rental Studio at all times. Once delivered or collected, full responsibility for the dress’s care rests with you.

By hiring from us, you agree to keep the garment safe and in good condition throughout the rental period.


Cleaning & Repairs

Every dress is professionally cleaned before and after hire—at no extra charge.
Please do not attempt to clean, alter, or repair any dress yourself. Doing so without written approval may result in being charged for the full retail value.


Damage or Loss

If the dress is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, you are responsible for paying the full retail replacement cost. This applies to all causes, including accidents or negligence.

If the dress is returned with repairable damage, you’ll be charged the full cost of repairs or cleaning as assessed by our team. This charge is in addition to your rental fee.


Refunds, Cancellations & Exchanges

We do not offer refunds for cancellations. If you cancel at least 60 days before your hire date, you'll receive store credit (minus a $30 admin fee). Store credit is valid for 12 months and cannot be extended.

Exchanges:
You may exchange your booking (subject to availability). If the change is made 30+ days before the hire date, the $30 fee is waived. Any price difference must be paid or credited.


Sizing Issues

It’s your responsibility to select the correct size. We recommend checking size charts on the designer’s website or contacting us before booking.

We do not offer refunds for incorrect sizing. However, if we send a different size than ordered, we will issue a full refund, including postage.


Garment Condition & Pre-Worn Wear

Our bridal gowns and formalwear are pre-loved and may show gentle signs of previous wear.
This includes (but is not limited to):
• Light pilling or faint marks
• Subtle wear on lining or hems
• Minor signs of cleaning or handling

If you believe your item is damaged or incorrect, contact us within 6 hours of delivery with clear photos. If we are not notified within this timeframe, you may be held liable.

Garments with minor cosmetic wear that does not affect wearability are not eligible for refunds.


In-Store Pickups

Once a dress is collected in person, all responsibility transfers to the customer. We recommend inspecting the garment upon pickup. By accepting the item, you confirm it is in satisfactory condition.


Order Availability & Right to Cancel

Occasionally, a booked item may become unavailable due to system error, in-store overlap, or condition concerns. If this occurs, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion.


Limitation of Liability

By hiring from Bridal Rental Studio, you acknowledge that we are not liable for:
• Cancellations
• Emotional distress
• Inconvenience
• Losses due to fit, delivery delays, or third-party courier issues

Rentals carry the inherent risk of pre-worn garments and reliance on delivery networks.


Identification

We may request government-issued ID for high-value or flagged bookings. If not provided upon request, your order may be cancelled without refund.


Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Bridal Rental Studio website and services. By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to comply with these terms.

We reserve the right to modify services, pricing, and terms without prior notice. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.


Refund Policy

Bridal Rental Studio does not offer refunds, except where required under Australian Consumer Law. Store credit may be issued under certain cancellation or courier-related conditions (see above).
