Bridal Rental Studio is an Australian-based formalwear and bridal rental business offering designer dresses and gowns for weddings, bridal parties, special occasions, and formal events, without the commitment of buying.

We launched in 2025 with the goal of making high-end bridal and formalwear more accessible, affordable, and sustainable for women across Australia.

We operate from two Melbourne-based locations: Niddrie and Airport West, VIC. You can choose local pickup or Australia-wide express delivery at checkout.

Currently, we only offer rentals and shipping within Australia.

Availability is updated in real time. Simply select your preferred rental dates on the product page, and it will indicate if the item is available.

Once you complete your booking and payment is processed, your hire is confirmed. You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly after.

We do not offer refunds for cancelled bookings. However, if you cancel 30 days or more before your hire date, you’ll receive store credit minus a $30 cancellation fee. Credit is valid for 12 months.

Our standard hire options are 4 or 8 days, as well as 12 days for some products, just get in touch prior to placing your order.

You can book anytime in advance of your event date. For last-minute hires, we recommend booking at least 3 business days before your event to allow for express shipping.

We list the official size and fit notes for each item, and we encourage checking the designer’s website for detailed sizing charts. You can also contact us for exact measurements or styling advice, we’re happy to help!

Unfortunately, we don’t offer refunds for incorrect sizing. Fit is the customer’s responsibility, so we encourage double-checking size info or messaging us before booking.

Yes! If you're in Melbourne, you can book a fitting appointment at our Airport West studio. Try-ons are subject to availability.

Exchanges are possible if your desired item is available. If your exchange is made 30+ days before your hire date, the $30 change fee is waived.

Items are delivered via Australia Post Express or FedEx and will arrive on or before your selected start date. We recommend selecting a delivery date 1–2 days before your event just in case of courier delays.

All dresses are shipped from Melbourne, VIC, either from our Niddrie or Airport West studio.

Yes! You can choose local pickup at checkout. We’ll send you a confirmation text when your order is ready.

Standard delivery is $25, which includes a prepaid return satchel. Bulky items may incur a $40 delivery fee.
Returns are covered under this fee, no need to pay extra.

Return your item by 12pm on the last day of your rental period:

• Postal customers: If it says AUSPOST: Drop the dress at any Australia Post outlet (not PO boxes) using the included prepaid satchel. If it says FEDEX: The driver will come for collection on the last day of your rental period. If you miss the pickup time, please drop off at your local FedEx facility or call FedEx directly to reorganise a collection
  
• Local pickup customers: Return the dress to the same location you collected it from.

Nope, we handle all the cleaning for you. Please do not attempt to clean the dress yourself, as this can result in damage fees.

If you’re unable to access a post office, please contact us ASAP and we’ll help find an alternative. All returns must be sent on time to avoid late fees.

Please check inside your delivery box first. If the return satchel is missing, contact us immediately so we can send you a replacement or alternative solution.

Please let us know right away. We assess damage fairly, if it can be repaired, we’ll charge a repair or cleaning fee. If the item is damaged beyond repair, you may be charged the full retail value.

Unfortunately, lost dresses will incur a replacement fee of 150% of the full retail value. Please get in touch as soon as possible so we can assist you.
